"fresh" is
the fish you find in
the grocery store?
Stores and restaurants typically buy seafood
and throw it on ice. There it sits until a customer buys or
orders it.
THE PROBLEM:
Fish and shellfish lose flavor and attract bacteria every
minute they are exposed to air. So, what is sometimes sold
as "fresh" may be anything but.
THE SOLUTION:
We flash freeze our fresh, just-caught seafood in vacuum packs
at -10°F. We then deliver our seafood, still flash frozen,
to your home in special coolers.
When you're ready, simply take the seafood from
your freezer, thaw, remove it from the vacuum pack, and prepare
it to your liking.
